Carmen Sutheimer is a Process engineer with a background in Chemical engineering.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in its Occupational Outlook Handbook,

"Chemical engineers develop and design chemical manufacturing processes. Chemical engineers apply the principles of chemistry, physics, and engineering to design equipment and processes for manufacturing products such as gasoline, detergents, and paper."

Carmen earned her Chemical Engineering degree, doing Co-op during college, which is a job similar to internship where a person commits to a work rotation throughout the year. She did these with Kimberly Clark, and was then offered a full position. She has worked from there with different plants and companies to assess the process of manufacturing a product, become a technical expert, and identify how to make those processes more efficient.
