Chevy Williams is an Environmental Scientist, who works for TVA in their Environmental Science division.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in its Occupational Outlook Handbook,

"Environmental scientists and specialists use their knowledge of the natural sciences to protect the environment and human health. They may clean up polluted areas, advise policymakers, or work with industry to reduce waste."

After having a varied college experience doing internships with different companies, Chevy has worked with TVA in the utility industry generating power for some time now. Her career focus as an Environmental engineer is more chemical-based than civil-based, for example focusing on things like chemical treatments rather than building roads.

Some of the things she has done in her career include being an emergency responder for chemical cleanup after Hurricane Katrina, and cleaning up the petroleum spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2015.
